❓ TIG Welder FAQ
How thick can these TIG welders weld on 110V vs 220V?
On 110V, both handle up to 2mm steel or aluminum (ACDC model). On 220V, both handle up to 6mm.
Can the DC TIG200 weld aluminum?
No. The DC TIG200 is DC-only and cannot weld aluminum. For aluminum TIG, you need the ACDC TIG200P with AC mode.
What is pulse TIG and do I need it?
Pulse TIG alternates between high and low amperage for better heat control on thin materials. Available only on the ACDC TIG200P.
What shielding gas do I need for TIG welding?
Use 100% Argon at 15–20 CFH for steel and stainless, and 20–25 CFH for aluminum. Never use CO₂ for TIG.
