🔍 WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

💾 EASY-SETTING MCU — Auto-Memory for Beginners

The MCU Digital Interface simplifies complex settings with a high-contrast display. The Auto-Memory Function saves your successful parameters — find your perfect settings once, and the machine remembers them forever. No more re-dialing every session.

🪤 100% PURE COPPER — Not CCA

Includes a 100% Pure Copper 300A Earth Clamp and 200A Electrode Holder. Pure copper promotes a more stable, softer arc that is easier to strike and maintain — especially important for beginners. Outperforms cheap CCA cables for safer, long-duration welding.

🔥 60% DUTY CYCLE — Built for the Workshop

60% Duty Cycle @ 200A (25°C) and 40% @ 40°C. This industrial-grade thermal efficiency, powered by stable 220V input, allows for extended work sessions on heavy-duty car restorations, farm repairs, and fabrication runs without overheating interruptions.

🎯 HF START — Zero Tungsten Contamination

High-Frequency arc initiation starts the arc without touching tungsten to the workpiece — eliminating contamination and producing consistent professional-quality welds from the first strike. Essential for clean aluminum TIG work.

🦶 12-PIN FOOT PEDAL — Zero-Interference Control SOLD SEPARATELY

The 12-pin professional remote socket promotes zero-interference signal transmission — far superior to common 5-pin connectors. Enables ultra-smooth, real-time amperage adjustment for precise puddle control on thin 1mm stainless steel and aerospace components. Foot pedal available separately.

🌊 AC/DC PULSE TIG — Fish-Scale Beads on Thin Metal

Pulse TIG delivers precise heat control with adjustable frequency and duty cycle — preventing burn-through on thin stainless and aluminum sheets while producing the professional fish-scale bead appearance that sets your work apart.

💡 From Beginner to Pro — No Guesswork Required. The Auto-Memory MCU saves your successful weld parameters. The Quick-Start Parameter Guide covers common materials and thicknesses. And 100% pure copper accessories deliver a softer, more forgiving arc. This machine is designed to help you succeed faster.

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am new to TIG welding — how do I know what settings to use for 1/8" aluminum?
Don't worry! Every ARCPEX TIG200P comes with a Quick-Start Parameter Guide covering common materials and thicknesses. A good starting point for 1/8" aluminum: 120A · AC TIG · 35% Balance · 1.5Hz Pulse. Plus, the Auto-Memory Function saves your settings — once you achieve a great weld, the machine remembers the exact parameters for next time.
Why does the 100% Pure Copper Earth Clamp matter for a beginner?
Beginners often struggle with an unstable arc. 100% Pure Copper provides much better conductivity than standard CCA cables found on other machines. This promotes a more consistent, softer arc that is easier to strike and maintain — leading to fewer mistakes and faster learning.
Is the 12-pin foot pedal connector hard to set up?
Not at all. It's a professional Plug & Play design. The 12-pin interface provides much more stable signals than a 5-pin, meaning the machine reacts instantly to your foot movements — giving you the precise control needed to prevent burn-through on thin metal. Note: Foot pedal is sold separately.
What is the benefit of the 100% Pure Copper accessories?
Most welders in this class use Copper-Clad Aluminum (CCA) cables to reduce costs. The ARCPEX TIG200P includes a 100% Pure Copper 300A ground clamp and 200A electrode holder. Pure copper has lower resistance — less power loss, less cable overheating, and a more stable arc during long, high-amperage welding sessions.
What happens if the power goes out mid-project?
The Auto-Memory Function automatically stores your last-used parameters. When you power back on, all settings — amperage, gas flow times, pulse frequency — are restored instantly so you can resume exactly where you left off.
