Kevlar Stitched

🔥 932°F RATED · 4-LAYER · KEVLAR STITCHED · 16" GAUNTLET · MIG STICK TIG FORGE BBQ FIREPLACE. ULTIMATE HEAT PROTECTION

The ARCPEX 16" Leather Welding Gloves are engineered for extreme heat environments — rated to 932°F (500°C) with 4-layer construction, Kevlar thread stitching, and a 16" extended gauntlet. Built for MIG, Stick, TIG, forge work, BBQ, fireplace, dog training, and any high-temperature application where standard gloves fall short.

🔧 WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT

ARCPEX 16inch Welding Gloves 4-Layer High Protection Power Structure

🔥 932°F · 4-LAYER CONSTRUCTION — ULTIMATE HEAT BARRIER

Outer Layer: 1.4mm thick cowhide leather — abrasion and spark resistant.
Fire Protection Layer: Air-isolated aluminum foil — reflects radiant heat.
Middle Layer: Flame retardant cotton — insulates against heat transfer.
Inner Layer: Insulated cotton lining — soft, breathable comfort.

Together rated to 932°F (500°C) — far beyond standard single-layer welding gloves.

🧵 KEVLAR STITCHING + DOUBLE-LAYER PALM — BUILT TO LAST

Kevlar thread stitching throughout provides exceptional rip and tear resistance — seams won’t fail under heat, stress, or repeated use. Double-layer reinforced leather on the palm, thumb, and finger crotch — the highest-wear areas — ensures long-lasting performance on demanding job sites.

🛡️ 16" EXTENDED GAUNTLET — FULL FOREARM COVERAGE

The 16" (40.6cm) gauntlet cuff shields your wrist and forearm from flying sparks, spatter, and accidental contact with hot surfaces. Soft insulated cotton lining wicks moisture and reduces hand fatigue during extended use.

Essential for overhead welding, forge work, fireplace handling, and wood stove loading where short-cuff gloves leave the forearm exposed.

🔥 FIREPLACE · BBQ · WELDING · DOG TRAINING — ONE GLOVE

Versatile enough for the full range of high-heat applications: MIG/Stick/TIG welding, forge & blacksmithing, BBQ grilling, fireplace & wood stove, and even dog training bite protection. One pair handles every job.

Pre-curved ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue — better grip and dexterity than bulkier alternatives.

💡 16" vs 9.8" Gloves: Choose the 16" gauntlet (932°F) for overhead welding, forge work, fireplace, BBQ, and any application requiring full forearm coverage and maximum heat protection. Choose the 9.8" gloves for everyday MIG/Stick welding and fabrication where full forearm coverage isn’t required.

🔧 IDEAL APPLICATIONS

🔥 MIG, Stick & TIG Welding

932°F rated protection handles MIG spatter, Stick welding slag, and TIG heat. Kevlar stitching and double-layer palm withstand full-day welding sessions. The 16" cuff is essential for overhead and out-of-position welding.

🔨 Forge & Blacksmithing

4-layer insulation handles forge temperatures and hot metal handling. Pre-curved fit maintains dexterity for hammer work and tong manipulation. Kevlar stitching resists the abrasion of repeated forge tool handling.

🔥 BBQ, Fireplace & Wood Stove

932°F rating handles fireplace log loading, wood stove management, and BBQ grill work. The 16" gauntlet protects forearms from open flame and radiant heat. Cotton lining stays comfortable during extended outdoor cooking sessions.

🐕 Dog Training & General Protection

The thick cowhide leather and reinforced palm provide reliable bite protection for dog training applications. Durable enough for repeated use while maintaining the dexterity needed for handling and control.

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the heat rating and how is it achieved?
These gloves are rated to 932°F (500°C) through a 4-layer construction: 1.4mm cowhide leather exterior (abrasion & spark resistance) + air-isolated aluminum foil (reflects radiant heat) + flame retardant cotton (insulation) + insulated cotton lining (comfort). This multi-layer system provides significantly better protection than standard single-layer welding gloves rated at 350°C.
Why does Kevlar stitching matter?
Kevlar thread is heat-resistant and extremely strong — it won’t melt, burn, or tear under welding heat and mechanical stress. Standard cotton or polyester stitching can fail under high heat, causing seams to split during use. Kevlar stitching ensures the gloves hold together through the full service life of the leather.
Are these good for BBQ and fireplace use?
Yes — the 932°F rating and 16" gauntlet make these ideal for fireplace log loading, wood stove management, fire pit handling, and BBQ grilling. The extended cuff protects forearms from open flame and radiant heat. The cotton lining stays comfortable during extended outdoor cooking sessions.
How do I care for these leather welding gloves?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth after use and air dry completely — never use direct heat to dry leather. Apply leather conditioner monthly to maintain flexibility and prevent cracking. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Inspect before each use and replace when leather shows excessive wear, burns, or holes.
